I'm back for the weekend. Had part of an oak tree fall on the house; only one 1" puncture, a bunch of banged up shingles, yard full of schmutz.
Kenilworth got pounded badly. A couple houses on Wiley have to be bulldozed.

This is what I know:
Ed/Eddie/Family are fine, hot and cranky, but fine. The creek in the back is rising, and we can now fish from the back,but we're not anticipating any issues. Only damage was the lemon tree. We're counting ourselves lucky.

Tutts are good-they were on vacation, and extended their trip a bit. Not sure when they are getting back.

Des (Geauxgirl/Innarra) and husband are good, last I heard.

The only reliable way of reaching me is by text message BTW. Posting this from work, where I have electric, internet, and AC. Our land line is out 100% and cells are iffy. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Email via the iPhone seems to work between 6 and 6:15 AM. Bizarre.

We are guessing we should have power back by Monday. Internet/Cable-not so sure. Supposedly, that comes right along with the power. We'll see.

Thankfully, I was in Illinois when it hit, but my family and all are good. All they got was rain and a little wind.

Power came back on late last night (Friday)! Yeah!!!

Still no power in kenilworth.
Been hauling debris for 3 days now.
Got MRE's from the FEMA fcamp.
Set up tarps, too.
Not that bad, just tedious.

Hey we've been back for a few days now, we're all good, one tree down and debris everwhere but other than that we're good :)
