Since when did my page become a message board? LOL But seriously, yes, they were starting to come out of their slump when the network pulled the plug. It was starting to go back to its starting premise. That's what I loved about it. One more season, and it could have gone the traditional 7 that most of the others went (with the exception of TOS).

I agree with you Distracted, the later episodes were much better, I wish they would have taken more of a "Battlestar Galactica" reboot, with a bit more teeth to the scripts-but not the temporal cold war. Didn't Marty McFly teach us NOT to mess with the timeline too often?

I did like the "Mirror, Mirror" episode, it looked like the actors "ate up the scenary" getting to do some not so nice stuff.

I think they (the powers that be) created the "Temporal Cold War" just to get around having to stay inside the lines of established canon. It seemed to me that very few of them ever even watched TOS.

As far as Enterprise goes, I can see how you might think that it was the changes in season 4 that caused the series to be cancelled, but the writing was on the wall long before then. I think the whole "Temporal Cold War" thing was a major mistake. The two and three episode arcs in the fourth season actually held my attention better, and Manny Coto's writing was just starting to revive things when they shut everything down. And I'm not even going to discuss the travesty that was Berman and Braga's little "valentine" to the fans. There's nothing like a little permanent character death to say that you care. *rolls eyes*
