Last week I didn't think I would be able to make Stennis because it looked like Baseball season would be starting and since I've got "seniority" (ie I know what I'm doing) I was going to be needed to film it. Then word came down that we might film the East Ascension High School Basketball playoffs instead which meant we wouldn't have to film baseball on Saturday (following all this?) Well, I would say it was a late night but I'm actually home at 10 p.m. Filmed the two one hour weekend shows this morning - then filmed the 1/2 hour news show at 4 p.m. and then at 6 p.m. filmed the Game of the Week show which ended around 9:30 p.m. (including setup and break down). East Ascension won their basketball game (big surprise) so now it's onto the next final game which will be Tuesday. Whew - another long day on the job. Not only was I behind on my normal work for the weekend show but I had to worry about the daily show and two cooking shows.
